Four Seasons helped us achieve our dream of adding a sunroom to the south side of our house, which opens onto a landscaped garden. The room is everything we had hoped it would be. Bright, spacious, warm, “sun-splashed”. We worked closely with Rick, Matt, Laco, Tomas and our great team of builders – Ken and his two sons – whom we came to think of as family. I had a 38 year old sunroom built with cedar beams and partitions that had been leaking for several years along with loss of vacuum in the glass panes resulting in foggy condensation that obstructed the view. To totally replace the old structure, it was necessary to tear it all down, leaving only the tile floor based on the original concrete slab.

The new sunroom is a 21 foot long System 9 Straight eave lean-to model, as was the old one, but now aluminum clad on the outside and wood on the inside.

Four Seasons Sunrooms managed the job in 4 weeks during a very wet June, needing to cover everything with tarps almost every night. There were no leaks during construction. The work was done very carefully by Lucas and Wojtek who were impressive in the range of their skills and workmanship. They were careful to tidy up after each workday.

During this past summer, thanks to the improved insulating glass, the sunroom retained the cool air from the central air conditioning that came from the floor vents and I look forward to staying cozy in it all winter due to new baseboard heaters and the improved insulating glass.

The workers were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful when my dog needed to go outside as I was recovering from a broken ankle. The structure is very well built and after more than three years no sign of leakage. It is the highlight of my home. All who visit always gravitate to this room which I use as my Dining Room/Relaxing corner. Very comfortable Year Round and stunning with a Christmas Tree. Best investment I ever made.

From start to finish the staff were awesome! The weather was nasty, but Ricky and Jay were dedicated experts with cheerful greetings everyday! Even our neighbours commented on how polite, quiet (except for necessary tools starting at 8am),tidy, and knowledgeable they were working nicely as a team. We are thrilled with our Four Seasons Room, and workshop!!! Our home is now brighter and more inviting! Plus now my husband has a Man Cave for all his tools!

Every visitor is totally impressed by the change! The house feels much bigger and updated! Much better idea than moving! We were surprised at how the temporary wall, kept the winter cold out. We have been so impressed with this company…from salesman to installers to post build follow up. One of the interior panels must have been bumped at one point and after total completion we noticed it and asked to have it repaired. It was very visible. What did 4Seasons do? Removed the shingles, removed the plywood from the roof and replaced the entire panel from above and reconstructed the whole thing…amazing!!! Highly recommended for anyone desiring a beautiful sunroom. –

Let me start by saying that we’ve had 2 other renovations within the last 3 years on other parts of our house by popular companies, and both were ‘disasters’ as far as communications with ourselves and other trades, shoddy workmanship that required trades people to come back and redo their work, sometimes up to 3 times! So we had very high anxiety levels going into this next project.

Our latest project was somewhat massive… Our house is a side-split level. Our original kitchen was approx. 10’x12’ and was 4 feet above ground level with a basement room under that. We wanted to double the kitchen size by extending it further into the backyard. So as not to have a wasted space under the new kitchen addition, we decided to also extend the basement. There were 3 major contractors involved… excavation and foundations/concrete, sunroom (Four Seasons) and overall internal kitchen finishing.

Four Seasons was responsible for the overall planning, engineering design work and City approvals for both the excavation/foundations as well as the sunroom.

Four Seasons built our sunroom on top of the concrete foundation, and interfaced the older section of the previous kitchen.

Four Seasons heard our complaints about our previous renovations, and reassured us that this time if we went with them, it would not be a disaster. From the sales presentation through to final completion, including working with the other companies’ trades people, Four Seasons staff were excellent in communication and worked well with all parties, especially in the areas of the jobs that overlapped for each contractor…. and the quality of their workmanship was excellent, with minimal aggravation on our part. If there were issues, they were resolved enthusiastically and in reasonable time frames.

Matt Thomas did a thorough and credible job explaining why the Four Seasons products were better than various competitors… especially the thermal resistance of the windows. He answered our questions plus gave us more questions for consideration that we should be asking, to ensure we were educated.

Matt Jacewicz and Chris Ionescu did their magic in the sunroom project co-ordination, showing up on site regularly to interface with their crews and those of the other contractors.

The job was well done and we would highly recommend Four Seasons Sunrooms.
